BMW M5 Ring Taxi Crash

Apparently one of the famous BMW M5 Ring Taxis crashed causing a closure of the Nordschleife Circuit. The circumstances aren't know yet, but it looks like no one was seriously hurt.

The M5 is quite the beast on track and accidents do happen, especially with the varying conditions at Nordschleife. According to a report, the M5 could have been traveling in excess of 113mph where the accident happened, around the first left-hander after the Karussell.

Just goes to show accidents can happen to ANYONE. I do believe the people who drive the taxis are professional drivers right?

She hasn't driven the BMW ring taxi in a couple years -

So true. A brain fart or succession of farts, a patch of oil, an unexpected move by another driver can put you into...whatever the German word for Armco is...in the blink of an eye.
Fortunately, the entire car's an airbag!
