nice looking car... these colors i'm not sure about tho, seems they are taking a lambo route to their ///M colors... thats like a crazier version of LSB, which certainly doesn't need any more loudness

M cars now have 80%+ unique parts so they get their own development code.

If I was on that bike I would have rolled up next to him, maybe even in front like the guys from new York (range rover incident) and got some close ups from all angels.

I personally love the color. I also love LSB so....

in case anyone didn't know, this is where they got the color from

Interesting...but last I heard the 3 series was being replaced by the 4 and BMW was saying so long to the M3...I don't know what BMW is doing anymore.

What was known as 3 series coupes and convertibles are now what BMW calls the 4 series. Now the numbering convention is basically odd numbers for sedans and +1 for the coupe version, with the exception of the 6 Gran Coupe which is a sedan.

Previous generation you had:
3 series = sedan, coupe, convertible, wagon. M3 was available as a coupe, convertible and sedan

Now you have:
3 series = sedan and wagon. M3 is now sedan-only.
4 series = coupe and convertible. M4 is coupe and (i guess eventually) convertible only

Well I guess the 6 Gran Coupe is more of a "4-door coupe"

Even if 80% of the parts are different from the F30, it still bothers me that they changed the model designation. It would seem that BMW is just completely ignoring their heritage these days...

There will also be a 4 series gran coupe, which is a 4 door coupe which is beyond me and this whole 3/4 series change. But what do I know. I am stuck in the 80/90s with my E36 and e30 based cars.

Not really trying to hide the design with a color that pops out like that.
