Lowering 325xi

Can you lower a 2003 bmw 325xi wothout messing it up. People say it can ruin the transmition lowering on an awd is that true? I wanted to put it on lowering springs

My xi has been lowered for over 6 months now and no problem yet you just have to use good springs like and H&R and not the ebay stuff

If I was you I'll just go with coilovers I made the mistake and went with springs and now I need shocks and want to go lower so buying springs was just a waste

Can i use my stock stuts with springs or should i get struts. And also people say it puts presseure on the differecntial when u lower it and it messed up the tranny

You can use your struts with H&R springs

huh do you not know you can set your own height on coilovers thats the good thing about them if you want to raise the car for the winter all you gotta do is adjust them to a higher setting and for the summer if you want to slam the car you can adjust to the lowest setting

Well if you go with cheap coilovers of course your ride is gonna suck go with h&r coils

They are like 1,400 dude thats bs you wont mess your car up if you do it right a close friend of mine got his xi slammed to the floor for over 1 year and all he has replaced is the driver side cv joint

Ok but if i didnt go with coils and just wanted it stanced. I just wanna get rid of the gap which springs would do that and would be able to get a good ride

Ok so just go with H&R springs idk about being stanced cuz they really dont go that low heres a pic of my car with H&R springs you will still have a bit of a gap in the front with the H&R springs thats why I want coils now
