Removing HK amp, installing others

This is a question more about the physical layout and installation of amps, rather than the electrical and/or wiring issues:

I am installing a JBL MS8 onto my 06 330 Ci. Front stage will be older A/D/S 320i's powered with an outboard amp or two. Rear seat will be some co-axial that works with the ADS's, and rear deck already has a pair of CDT 6x9 subs with an outboard JL amp installed under the floorboard to the spare cover.

Trunk is currently configured with the metal frame on the left side, set up to hold the CD changer, etc ... but car has never had and won't have a changer. It looks like there is enough room once the frame is unbolted and removed to allow the MS8 and an amp or two.

Has anyone removed the black CD changer frame and installed amps in it's place ?
Looks like you could run a distributor block from the battery for the additional units, and use the sheet metal of the floor and walls to bolt up the MS8 and amp(s) ... I would think it would be a good idea to cut some ventilation holes in the grey cloth covered "liner" that has the door on it for the changer, etc ..

If anyone has already done this, would like to see/hear how it turned out, or if not - I will take some photos and share the experience.

Thanks for any advice/counsel, as always.
