RTAB MIS tool and preload tool for rent

Like the title says I have a MIS RTAB tool for rent along with the preload tool needed to properly change your worn RTAB. If you don't know what the pre load tool is look here...

http://m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=285053

Both of these tools should be used to properly replace your old RTAB.

If your not a trusted forum member, You can rent both tools from me for $30 shipped for 10 days. with a $100 Deposit fee. I will give you $70 back after I get the tools back un-damaged. You are responsible for paying the return shipping.

If you are a trusted forum member (lots of posts and trust/ positive feedback from other members) I don't need a deposit and you can just pay the $30 rental fee.

If anyone has questions or doesn't know how both of these tools work feel free to ask. Although there are a lot of DIY's on this subject it shouldn't be to hard to find.

Hey there! I'm ready to replace my RTABs and would like to rent your tool(s), please! I have two questions, though, which might help other future renters as well, so I'll post them here.

1) The MIS RTAB tool you have is the one for sale here as used in this thread, right?

2) I'm installing PowerFlex RTABs, which are solid polyurethane with no metal housing (unlike the OEM bushings). It is my understanding from the thread above (this post, specifically), that I will not need to preload them. Do you know if that is correct? Either way, would it be possible to rent only the MIS tool, and, if so, at what rate?

Thanks in advance! I will PM you to arrange details for rental pending the answers.

1. Yes that's the tool but the picture on the MIS website is wrong (yes their picture is inaccurate) the MIS tool I have and the MIS tool everyone uses for their e46 actually looks like this....

http://www.e46fanatics.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=751640

2. I don't know about the powerflex bushings, I would email powerflex that question.

If you only want the bushing tool and not the pre-loader I'll take $5 off the rental fee so $25 to rent. And $20 off the deposit, so $80 deposit.

All of this is at your own risk, I'm just letting you rent my tools I'm not responsible for anything that happens when they are in your possession. So know what your doing before you start if you dont know ask me or someone who will know.

Probably going to do my RTAB's in a few weeks so looks like I will be getting in touch with you to rent these. So it is $100 correct(not 130) and you will give me back $70 once I return? Thanks

Feel free to add your name to this list, i will be updating it ASAP when i have the tools back.

I will be buying more special tools in the near future, so if anyone needs another special tool feel free to PM me or post on my "what tool do you want to rent" thread.

Looks like the timing isn't going to work out for me after all, so I'm taking myself off the list. Thanks, though - I appreciate your prompt responses!

You can take me off the list for now. I'll probably need it in about a month or so.
