The shots happen so fast sometimes.....you only get a small window.

Then there's the laziness factor of........do I really want to change lenses for that shot. The versatility is where it's at. But like I said , it's heavy and always feels like it's about to fall over. I'm used to the 18/55 which is about half as heavy.

I can't get near the shots with it though. Plus the risk of changing lenses all the time
Dirt, dropping the lens, covering it, putting it away, uncovering the other one, putting away the cover, mounting the lens. Forget that mess.

My latest is terrestrial stuff. Mounting it to a telescope and getting shots a mile away. I'm in the research phase and currently looking for the telescope
