Angecy Power or Status Gruppe sec 1+2?

I've been searching around and can't seen to find full reviews of the section 1 and 2 for these brands. Most people seem to be running their headers but not the section 1 and 2.

I can't seem to decide which I should go for..which are better..or if there is even a difference? Which sounds better? SG seems to have nice prices as well.

Any input would be great, thanks in advance

I have been wondering the same. I have AP headers ready to install, but need to run cats in section 2 to remain emissions compliant. I am curious if anybody has had any cat related CEL's running high flow Status Group cats.

one brand to another is just a different design and sometimes material used. This car is 12 years old so many company's have made these pieces and pretty much they are all the same and pretty cheap.

the section 1s are all pretty much the same design besides material / cats or not / resonators or not.

the section 2s are either:

-straight pipes with no resonators
-x pipe aka single 3 inch pipe (can have a resonator)
-normal two pipe design with some type of H or x crossover with resonator


A cars sound is preference and i could only describe the differences of everything i listed in loudness not pitch. The muffler plays the biggest role in exhaust noise / sound.
