Raw video footage just after the crash. Definitely looks like speed was involved imo.

RIP Paul Walker

Why does everyone think that a car that's on fire will blow up? It really never happens.

The only reason I can image people weren't close was because of the amount of flames. This whole thing is so messed up. Poor guy RIP

at :38 something sounds like it snapped in the fire. So yeah, it's probably safe to assume something else might blow up.

something popped/exploded in the video, which prompted the guy to run.

It's certainly possible.

BMW 03 E36M3 Lightweight
Right now I have the largest private collection of E36M3 lightweights, which is, in my opinion, the best generation of the BMW 03. The lightweight LTWs, they only brought 60 of them to the States and they didn't come with AC. They were basically like a weekend racer's car: real light, everything just lightened up like what the GT3 bearing is to Porsche. It's just really cool, so I started nabbing those up a while ago, because I realized that was going to become the "it" car. I got in just in time. I amassed a bunch of them, so I'm just going to sit on them for a while.
