fuel starvation and baffle

on a totally stock fuel setup my car would starve at an indicated 1/2 tank, which is consistent with what others have reported. before the roebling event last week i installed the m3 pump baffle and it now starves at an indicated 3/8, as did evan levine's car with the same mod. so the baffle provides a small but noticable benefit. probably good enough for sprint racing but if you want 1+ hours of run time you'll need a dual pump setup.

btw fuel starve can be more than just annoying, i came >< this close to collecting evan when his car conked out on the last turn of the last lap of a fun race (go to the 20m50s mark):

You can install a secondary pump in the left had side of the tank. It will allow you to go down to about .5 gals.
