Soooo, my spacers seemed to fit correctly but I guess they didn't. Looks like the lip the wheel sits on wasn't wide enough for the original lip on the car hub and when I tightened the wheel over the spacer the lip of the wheel hub was pushing against the lip of the spacer and tore it off.

That will be very confusing to read haha....

Morale of the story is to make sure you use the right spacers.

So I had my first low incident. I let my friend drive my car while I was taking pictures and the passenger side splitter got mangled.
