My Ride: 2003 Jet Black 330xi
I've got 161k on my '03 330xi 5 speed. I also love how many people are shocked when I'm driving around in the snow. So many people don't know that BMW has made AWD cars for a long time (granted the E36 never had it).

Lol yup! Same here. I always get "oh bet u wish u had fwd/awd" then I drive off normal and they just left there standing in awe lol

have to say i've had many bmw and mercedes and my 330xi is hands down the best in the snow. cant say the same for my wifes 328i,she left the house last week when it was snowing,moved my car to get hers out,called me an hour later and said" i cant get out of the parking lot" i said babe you had 2 choices when you left,you made the wrong choice.

the rears i used aftermarket shock mounts if i remember correctly. i rand the fronts with no helper springs and the rears i just ran the springs no perches

Oh ok. What are helper springs and perches? And what are they for? Sorry for all the questions. Newb here and i plan on doing the installation myself.

helper springs are small springs thats normally under the regular spring on some coilovers, and perches are the height adjusters
