Not that pair. But the older versions were good cross training shoes in my opinion.

I know a lot of people like them and they're much cheaper than the top oly shoes.

No joke, when I was shopping I remember these being more expensive than the price listed in the link.

Also, Klokov has a pair, so they must be good

I should start doing this. I started dead lifting from the ground, and it certainly doesn't help with having a straight back. I thought I fixed it, but after shooting a video of myself, I am not happy with the way my back looks like.

I wouldn't teach deadlifts from the top down. Oly lifts are much different. I've started teaching people from the top down on the oly lifts and it's much better.

I guess that must be true. I don't think deadlifts are part of a training routine for oly lifters - unlike squats. Part of my point was deadlifts don't help much with the oly style lifts, might even be counterproductive.

I'd disagree with that. The first pull is much like a deadlift. Slightly different but a lot of the same movement. Almost every single oly program I've seen has clean grip and snatch grip deadlifts.

So I couldn't try on the reebok oly plus because they only had a smaller size left
But tried on a reebok u-form lifter shoes which has the same sole
Felt pretty good
Solid stiff heel
No adipower in stock and adidas powerlift was not in my size so I can't compare

The guy at the store was telling me that oly plus was one of reebok's first cf lifting shoes
Anyway
I liked the other shoe enough and the price on the oly plus is good so I will probably get those
But i want to try on the adidas ones before I make the decision

Because?
If price is not an issue, I feel inclined to get the adipower
(After checking fit)

People with wide feet have problems with adipowers. I am pretty happy with the way they fit (I even order a half size smaller), but I guess I have normal width feet.

Definitely try both if you can.

Romaleos are supposedly the sh1t. If they weren't $200 I'd jump all over them. They're the shoe all the olympians wore. My buddy has the adipower ones I believe. Also very good.

Met with a coach tonight. Did clean and jerk and snatch. Learned a lot. I can't full snatch at all but power is not as bad as I though it would be.

Just little things that i was doing wrong. Keeping shoulders over the bar when rising. Foot position on the jerk. Keep bar more in my hand to press it. Bunch of little cues.

I got the romos due to having wide feet and it love them.

The Romaleos 3 and Adipower in Black are apparently in the works.

I have a 20% off coupon code from adidas.com that expires in 5 days. Let me know if you want it. Adidas offers free returns as well.
