that sucks bad

the elderly father of a friend fell four days ago and for three days was stuck on the floor with a broken hip - he did not have the "I have fallen and I cant get up" button

Now in hospital and they are going to have to break the hip again to remove and replace with synthetic

Stu - biggest indicator of health is grip strength. Know why? Because if you have good grip when you get older and start stumbling you can catch your self from falling down.

Sorry to hear, hope he is able to recover.

My gma just passed away this past weekend from a massive acute hemorrhagic stroke, which reminded me how fleeting the gift of life is. take care of yourselves everyone...risk factors for stroke: previous stroke/TIA, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, smoking.

Dude I'm sorry for your loss. My wife just lost an uncle before Christmas from a heart attack at 54. His son died back in February at 23 years old. Last I saw him was this time last year at her grandmothers funeral. This getting older **** sucks. You get to watch everyone die knowing your day approaches. I guess its never too early for a will to be written. I was finally told to read my fathers today just in case. My uncle and I share POA. his wife was not happy to find that out at the hospital. Lol
