Check your intake housing, and make sure everything it tight; I forgot to loosen my clamps once and had this happen to me.

My Ride: 2003 M3 manual conve
I had the same issue with a 2003 manual convertible. Was a loose battery connection. Some irregularity in the circuitry means that the alternator doesn't keep the current flowing if there is a loose batty connection. Roadside assistance was no help - wanted to tow the car. Fixed the connection, no further problem. Before it stopped, a warning was that the stereo flickered in terms of power supply.

I had similar issue. I'd shift to neutral when cruising to stop and car would stall. Initially no CEL or codes but eventually CEL did illuminate and ended up being a bad MAF sensor. Other weird thing was cruise control was inoperable until new MAF was installed.

Try getting some MAF cleaner. Can't hurt and cheap.

I hope this isnt dead but those hiccups.... my engine will kick... like something is grabbing my flywheel? Im not sure why but it does it randomly at idle. I was having some of the.issues that were first mentioned in this above post but they have al stopped and now I have this... I changed the spark plugs and my engine runs smoother but these hiccups feel like something is lodged in the engine ot my valves are hitting the piston but is this possible... please help!!!!
