Took a few days off due to food poisoning and then family obligations. Back at it today:

worked up to a 3RM on front squats. Failed at 225 after 2 reps. I don't know how you guys do it, my fingers felt like they were going to snap off and they still hurt.
3x max reps standing press. I used 95lbs 10/12/11

Conditioning, holy **** this was awful: 50 step ups (25 left, 25 right - 25lbs in each hand), 100 dynamic push ups, 150 double unders. I did it like this

5 sets of:

10 step ups
20 dynamic push ups
60 super fast jump rope (I don't have a speed rope, double unders are nearly impossible)

Time: 23:14
Fastest round: 3:13 (1st)
Slowest round: 5:18 (4th)

Brutal.

Ideally this stuff should be 15min an under. My rule of thumbs is if I can't finish the cffb wod in that time I didn't scale correctly. I'm doing this at 6. I'll let you know how I do it. I will be doing the double unders though. I'm uncertain how I'm going to break this up. I may just chip away at it.

double unders with a regular jump rope are REALLY hard to do in succession. I can ratlle off 1-5 here and there, but never constant enough to do reps.

I spent a LOT of time on the floor resting, I've always had awful wind even when I was a track "star"

Going to have to modify today's workout, I have nowhere to sprint and I'm not doing KB swings with my lower back injury. I may do 1-1-1-1-1-1 bench or something and then supplement burpees and stuff in the conditioning workout (no slam balls at my gym either)

warmed up
5x3 front squats @ 185 (90% of 3RM from Monday)

15/12/9
190lb bench press (body weight + 5)
50lb weighted STRICT pull ups
9:00

The weighted pull ups were nearly impossible to do at 50lbs, and I'm strong as hell. I should have done it with 25-30lbs. Also, lost TONS of time going back and worth and setting up the weighted pull up belt.

Extra:
15/12/9
Skull crushers, EZ curl bar with 25 on each side
close grip, same weight

3 walk/sprints at 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 mph (sprint 1 minute each burst)

Stretch in sauna

Good job man. I'm doing things a little different today.

3x5 Squats with 245

3x10 press

Then

4rds
10 115lb Front Squats and 50 yard sprints

rest as needed between rounds. I want unbroken squats

slam balls get tiring fast. I'm undecided on what I want to do today.

Probably going to heavy cleans then something that will kick my ass

Ouch. That's a good snatch though.

Doing today's? I'm going to sub out the row with something else.

Yea I'm definitely doing today, I may do the row unless you think of something cooler before I workout at 6.

I was going to do this instead. I feel like I'm getting too lean too fast. My own damn fault for not eating enough but I'm swapping out the cardio or today for more power oriented wod.

Thinking of doing the 30 body weight squats, then push press 3rm. Then 5 rounds of 6 115lb Push Press and 1 50 yard sprint.

Barely made it to 185 for my 3rm, felt like I was going to topple Haha. Conditioning in 1145. Did toe raises and abs after.

Definitely felt like too little, but didn't want to overlap tomorrow.
