Do they. Is there any other ways? I've looked in eBay but nobody sells them. When you paint them do you mean put the car in a spray garage?

Thanks for your reply

Looks like you need part numbers 54217894715 and 54217894716 if you want to switch them to the factory correct parts. They're about $200 each ($400 total).

The problem is that the hardtop you have is actually for a non-M e46 (as far as I know). Only the hardtops originally ordered for the M3 had the black (shadowline) molding.

You can go to your local Home Depo pick up a can of plasti dip in the paint section. spray 6-8 coats from 12 inches away make sure can is kept warm so you get a smooth spray. If you don't like it with the Plasti dip you can peel it off after it dries.

Oh no really..I didn't no that...is the only difference between the M3 hardtop and the non M3 hard top the black strip. The hardtop had rear heated screen led interior lights fits nice as well.

I think I will spray or wrap it from chrome to black.

or tape it off and use a foam brush with paint, that way you won't have to worry about over-spray anywhere else
