What is the best tire for everyday off track use? 2002 M3 Convertible

Should I stay with Continentals or try another brand. I occasionally take it out for an aggressive session up the PCH Or out to Vegas.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports are fantastic, but pricey. Lots of good alternatives....I like the Conti ExtremeContact DW. Go to Tire Rack and look at their comparison tests, and weigh things like noise, ride comfort, and wet/dry grip to find a tire that suits your priorities.

If you are looking for some great bank for the buck tires, check out the Falken FK453 tires!

Almost all of our wheel/tire package with Falken FK453:

They're good falken' tires.

I used to run the Azenis RT615s when they first came out. Not the hot tip for autocross anymore, but still a very good tire.

Michelin Pilot AS3. From my limited experience (about 2k miles with them on my 2012 GTI) they are amazing for an all season tire. I know I know, all season...but they were designed to be serviceable at best in the 4th season while being really really good in the dry, wet and warmer months. I bet they grip as well as some of the true summer tires out there and they come with a 45k warranty while most summers come with nothing.

Worth a look.

I ended up going with what I had on the car....ContiSportContact 3. I was pleased with its performance and didn't want to risk opting for something that I wouldn't like driving on.
