fanatics recommendation for tire size(s) for 18x8(f) 18x9(r)

TR recommends a 225/40/18 and 245/35/18. not too many decent tires at a reasonable price in those sizes. Any recommendations from the fanatics? should I increase widths or run a non-staggered tire setup?

Depending on the wheel offset, you may be able to use 255/35R18 rear which is a much more common size.

A 255/35/18 may be a possibility, depending on your wheel specs.

225/40/18 on the front. 255/35/18 in the rear. You'll be just fine.
