My SL55 is still for sale, it's back on the market.
Unfortunately the deal fell through even after the prospective buyer spent about $1000 total, for PPI and flew to Denver to check out the car (tickets, hotel, parking etc).

He loves the car, the exterior, the interior, the power but he doesn't really like the tranny. He said it's not "crisp" enough, he's comparing the SL55 auto tranny to a single clutch like BMW smg or newer Aston single-clutch (which shouldn't be compared since SL55 has basically an automatic with torque converter). And he's buying the car for mountain driving.

    ^^^ it is a convertible, it's a glass panoramic retractable roof. All SL's have retractable hardtops

    I so wanted to buy this car!
