Thanks for the weed, Obama!

It took a Muslim halfbreed from Kenya to change the marijuana mindset in this country. Hard to believe that Reagan's bullshit war is finally coming to an end, and it's all because of Barack Obama.

Thank you, Mr. President. History will recognize you as one of the greatest freedom fighters in the continuing saga that is this nation.

I don't think lair is trolling. I think he's finally come to his senses.

Obama has been fighting our freedom every step of the way. it's about time an uber-lib like lair noticed.

If anyone could use a trip to CO, it's you two.

Take AOG with you.

I don't like weed, not my thing. I'm a drinker.

Well it's nice right now, snow just melted-ish. Well streets are dry. Supposed to snow tomorrow till Saturday, though. Can't wait to go out drifting a little.

What did Obama do regarding the legalization of weed? Did I miss something?

maybe the subtleties of politics are a bit nuanced for your neanderthal-sized frontal cortex. Change takes a long time, and in terms of cannabis legalization, the ball has been rolling, slowly but surely. Obama and his cronies not going after CO and WA is a huge step. Obama allowing Holder and the DEA to let banks take cash from legal canna-business? Another huge step.

It's true. Can anyone see McCain or Romney or Gingrich or whoever the Republicans wanted to win accomplishing the same?

Of course not, they are giant pussies. McCain actually has started to come around on it though.

Romney has money in "treatment facilities" so of course he would be against it because it would hit his pocketbook

I think the joint started rolling when Big Bad Billy Clinton was in office. Nobody noticed it gaining momentum during the Bush Administration cuz of that whole little war thing. Obama is just giving it another shove.

Some powerful people still make a very good living from the "War on Drugs" I'm willing to bet. A lot of politician and Supreme Court Justices that support keeping it illegal are on their 10 term in office, and are lifers. We need turn over in these areas to really finish it off and decriminalize it on a fed level.
