Flashing lights help!!!

Hey guys,

New member here but I've been reading the forums a lot lately on an issue I'm having with my xenon headlights. I drive a 2001 E46 and my light indicators have gone out on the dashboard. Started with one tail light, then another in the rear, and then the passenger head light has been on and off for the past 6 months and just recently both head lights have been flickering. I read that it could be a couple of issues, either the ballast, ignitor or even a grounding issue with a socket from the tail lights. My question is, should I start with replacing the ballast first, then ignitor? Or should I just replace both? Also the passenger headlight that has been on and off has been a lot dimer in color, wondering if I should replace the bulbs as well?

Also if anyone has any recommendations on where to buy the parts I would greatly appreciate it. I went to oemxenonshop.com, but that site seemed kinda sketchy.

xenon flickering

My 2000 323it xenon headlights stopped annoying flickering right after I've changed bulbs in taillights: bulbs that had worned electrical foot contacts.
