Did you link the wrong article? It took me to "Portland shooting suspect managed to shoot himself in the testicles while trying to escape."

this is an interview with Peter Schiff, why designate him as a faceless CEO? Oh yeah, OP is retarded.

an extra LOL at mocking Schiff's economic knowledge, bagger might want to read up a bit

I concur. Although I don't believe that retarded is the term anymore. It's now called "liberty challenged".

I don't see how this is relevant. McDonalds has one of the lowest profit margins of any large company.

And also, who cares if she thinks that mentally retarded are worth $2 an hour. In my opinion I'm surprised that Walmart even pity hires them because let's be honest here. They cannot work. It's nice that companies hire them and charities exist, but they cannot produce the same amount as a non-handicapped person.

Youthful enthusiasm coupled with youthful ignorance will wear anyone down.

And you're just plain worn down because that happens at your age. Shouldn't you be fed and in bed at this point?

Seriously? I'm so close I can taste it. I'm in New Orleans I could drive to you. And are you really that upset that I stated the truth that no one wants to say? It's not even an insult where you can call bs because "you don't know what it's like when someone has a disability" because actually I do. But I'm a practical person so I speak the truth.

Still waiting on you to answer the chart question.

do you look yourself in the mirror every day and tell yourself how wonderful and awesome you are to feed your ego?

You want honesty? Everyone here thinks you're a joke on both sides of the political spectrum. Chase 2.0

Here is a basic run-down of economics which you fail to understand.

Despite your "feel good" view of economics, people, especially the unskilled and uneducated are nothing but commodities. Why? Because they all come with the equivalent skill set, and can be easily replaced with someone of identical skill-sets. That being said all labor, is still governed by the laws of supply and demand.

This means that without a minimum wage (in countries with horrible economic failures with great social safety nets like Germany) when there is an oversupply of labor you have what is called systemic unemployment. Its when people lose their jobs and cannot find a replacement.

So what happens when there is a minimum wage AND an oversupply of unskilled labor (like the people who normally work for minimum wage)? You have people who are unable to find work, and due to the minimum wage are unlikely to procure employment. Why?

Simple. If an employee renders $3 per hour of utility to a company, and the minimum wage is $7.15, the company will not hire an employee at $7.15 an hour when the employee only gives the employer $3 per hour of utility. It would be a loss of $4.15 per hour to the employer. Makes no economic sense.

So what happens when an employee offer $8 an hour in net utility to an employer when the minimum wage is $7.15? That employee works for $7.15, or $8 if they require a bit of training, an hour.

However, what happens with the employee offers $8 an hour in net utility, and the POTUS raises the minimum wage to $10.15 an hour? Well, absent the employee becoming more efficient, or bringing a new set of skills to the table, the employer is now at a loss having the employee on board. Therefore, the employee will likely lose his or her job.

Now, when you add in educated and skilled people unable to find a job (due to an oversupply of labor) the equilibrium of their wages gets depressed due to an oversupply of labor and now you have skilled laborers willing to work for less.

So when the wages of skilled workers get depressed, while simultaneously the minimum wage (for pragmatically unskilled labor) goes up, why would an employer hire an unskilled and/or uneducated laborer for $10.10 an hour, when they could hire a skilled and/or educated laborer for $10.10 per hour, or why would they hire an unskilled labor when he or she renders $2 or $6 or $8.50 in utility per hour when the employer must pay $10.10.

So please educate yourself, and no more citing Huffpo, Moveon, Mediamatters, Mother Jones, Daily Kos or any other koolaid drinking nonsense unless we can cite Glenn Beck or Alex Jones.

I did answer your question. You just weren't satisfied with the answer. I posted a long report on why OSHA did nothing(because I know how you love those long, cited reports) and you said nothing about it. In case you were feeling lazy I summarized it as well.
