Question 2003 330 can I replace xenons with regular lights ?

Hi guys and gals, newbie here so if there is a thread for this please point me to it.
Recently bought a 2003 330cic with xenon/bi headlights ,drivers side is totally wrecked, looking for an economical replacement,or some after markets that would work and not bring up a code on dash.
Thanks in advance
Will be posting pics when complete

You are already off to a bad start if you can't buy at least a used oem unit. Going cheap usually only ends up costing you more in the long run and that goes for just about anything on the e46.
