Xenon Low Beam Out.....

Come back E34, all is forgiven..... this E46 is having numerous issues this Winter. Ugh.

So, this morning my driver side low beam did not come on, and I got the courtesy pictorial dash warning of said failure.

Some questions, since I've not dealt with a failed HID before:

1) Will PA Soft tell me what might be bad? Bulb, ignitor, ballast etc, or is it just gonna tell me the same as the dash, that it isn't on.

2) If not, is there a way to troubleshoot it the old school way?

3) Is each side fused separately?

Any good sites to buy parts from for ballast, ignitor, hid, etc? TRS.com is currently closed due to winter storm conditions and haven't replied all week to emails.

They'll be back in business next week. Just wait. They're good.
