getting sick of verizon

1 droid,400 min, unlimited text, 2gb= $110 a month, and if it's a day late, calls and texts all day everyday , nothing short of harassment

i keep seeing super cheap alternatives but all i can think is the service must suck

the one walmart promotes in particular

then the t-mobile commercial during the superbowl

what you guys have, what do you pay and how is the coverage?

straight talk (walmart) : 48.92/month including taxes. calls/text unlimited + 2.5 gb of high speed, after that you get 3g.. they use ATT towers, so its like using ATT itself. their customer service sucks but overall cheap and effective.

I was grandfathered with Verizon until a few months ago. Bought a Nexus 5, switched to unlimited everything T-Mobile plan, haven't looked back.

Sprint. Unlimited everything. I pay $80 for me, and $70 for my wife. My bill comes out to $170 each month for two phones.

Coverage is great. I have LTE everywhere normally go, and have never had a dropped call. I have gone into areas where I lose LTE but they are few and far between. I will say I do not depend on my phone and data plan like some do, but I think I could at this point. Don't believe the hype and maps on Verizon commercials. They claim my area is not covered, yet I have LTE everywhere and I'm getting a service upgrade this month for better service.

The Verizon Unlimited everything ended I think last year. People who already had it were allowed to keep it before all these GB limiting plans came out.
The catch is you have to pay full retail price for a phone if you want a new one.

iPhone 5s, 400 talk min, unlimited text, 2gb data, $120/month through Verizon.

I always pay early so no texts/calls

I've had both AT&T and tmobile. Cheaper, yes. Coverage sucked. Never had service. I'd consider AT&T again, but I'd never go back to tmobile.

AT&T just announced cheaper plans to compete with T-Mobile, might want to look into that.

That said, I don't pay anything for my phone since my company deals with it. So $0.00 for unlimited everything including international data and calling.

$280 for two smartphones and 3 regular phones on Verizon.

Most expensive but best quality.

You get what you pay for.

My tmobile phones were useless in NH, ME, VT, and pockets of MA (where I live). That's why I switched to Verizon. Couldn't use tmobile at my house unless I was on wifi. Just my experience though. Obviously it's completely dependent in an individuals location.

Link to info? I just searched and couldn't find anything official.

I'm wanting to ditch AT&T because it's too expensive, even with my 20% corporate discount.

There are several articles about it, search around. Not sure if it has gone live yet or not though.

I'm curious...is the "grandfathered in" there because you didn't upgrade after 2yrs? I just upgraded from my flip phone and I think I got a good deal. $75 share 400, unlimited text, share 4GB. For two iPhones its $150. I use about 4% of my Data I think I saw this deal about 3 years ago when Verizon asked me to upgrade.

I've read some horrible stories about people moving to T-mobile for that pay to move thing.
