Can anyone in Dallas help me to turn the DRL off?

Hello!

I have 2004 330i. I want to turn off my DRL since I bought Depo xenon headlights with angel eyes.

I don't want the DRL on with angel eyes.

I have a question, if I turn off the DRL with my current headlights, will it be still off after replacing the headlights?

Please let me know the cost for the job

I can drive to you if you are not too far away from me.

DRLs do add a bit to your safety, OP. Although you might not like the way they look when on with your depos, I'll just mention that first, you don't see them when you're driving, and second, that you want others to see them. That said, I don't know how the angel eyes work...as in, I don't know if they stay on all the time like drls, though if you turn off the drls, I guess they wouldn't.

Anyway, I'm old and try to keep you kids alive here, so don't take my comment as an attack or anything. Especially in Texas with many flat roads and long vistas, having on some lights on will really aid in other drivers seeing you. Driving into or away from the sunset or sunrise on roads like that, really makes it hard for other drivers to see anything.

...and a bump for you.

Angel eyes have its own wiring harness as other angel eyes do.
It will be on forever whether it's daytime or nighttime driving.
So I don't want to see my high beam bulb on with angel eyes during daytime driving.
And that's why I want them to be off.
Angel eyes will work as DRL

I know I need pa software 1.6 and code reader? I think.
But I don't want to buy those just to turn off my DRL. However, I might end up buying those since I don't want to pay dealership a lot of money just to turn off those.
I have feeling they are gonna charge just as much as the price of the reader and program.

They will charge at least as much as the program so you are better off just buying it.

I am not familiar with PA software but can walk you through this using NCS Expert if you happen to have that. Any of the software packages will more than pay for themselves after a few uses.

If you need help with NCS...send me a PM

Cheers

I have NCSE, if you're willing to travel to Allen - I can turn DRL off within few min.
