So you guys remember my last ex?...

Her and my "friend" got engaged after 5.5 months. My friends were calling me neo all Friday night for dodging that bullet. People asked if I cared and I can honestly say no. People may think I'm full of sh1t "if you didn't care why post about it" well, a lot of you guys remember the situation and I wanted to fill you in on the lack of stability in that girls mind.

here's a basic time line for anyone unfamiliar

dated her from dec 12-august 13. Tells me she wants my babies, we break up two weeks later. A week after that she's dating a friend of mine. 5 months after that they're engaged.

She feared you. You weren't the guy that fits the bill for husband that's also weak enough for her to control. New guy fit the bill. Give it 4 years max, if she makes it to the alter.

Feared me in what way? Not being able to control me? Just trying to learn so I don't scare anymore girls lol.

Yea. She feared you could be a guy she could get very hurt by if you got to a point that you quit caring. There's always an upper hand in the relationship, an alpha, that isn't gender specific. If the non-alpha fears being "hurt," because they are with someone that can just walk away, it gives them a sense of unstableness (hence guys proposing way too early to lock it down). They'd rather have a weak person they can emotionally control to prevent that from happening.

She's insecure in herself as simply being good enough so she assumed over time you'd get tired of her. So she landed a guy that puts her on a pedestal and she can control it.

lol like I said, I've known this guy for like 15 years and never heard of a single girl he dated. Yea we lost touch for a while when he was out west but I can def see him being the type to try to lock it down lol.

Too funny...should be interesting to see if you make the cut for the wedding. If you do, I'd wait 364 days to send a gift in case they break up in the first year....save that cheddar.

Wish I would have used that approach for one of my buddies who I KNEW wouldn't last a year with his wife. 8 months later, divorced. $100, up in flames

She wanted to settle down, did not see that happening with you. Now she got what she wanted.

MIT chick I just met, we had only 2 dates, sex on 2nd date. At the end of the 2nd date she was asking if I can see myself with her. Women

Forever alone

i dunno, maybe it's the close proximity to the Hudson river or something, but the women around here are batshit insane. except for the ugly ones, they are usually pretty cool.
