Todays workout, would love to do some AMRAP stuff but my gym gets to crowded for it, but we shall see, this is subject to change

3x5 front squats at 205 lbs
5x3 power clean and press at 115 lbs
50 one legged weighted bench squats (25 each leg) I want to focus on form with these so I am going to take it slow

25 105 lbs push presses for time

4 rounds of:
15 KB swings
15 situps

Loving these workouts, finally think I am over being sick and feeling better every day in the gym. I don't want to take a day off.

3x5 front squats at 205 lbs (these were heavy as ****)
5x3 power clean and press at 115 lbs
50 one legged weighted bench squats with 50 lbs (my balance sucks)

25 105 lbs push presses for time
1:40 (slow as **** but my shoulders are toast)

4 rounds, 20 count rest in between rounds:
15 KB swings 20 kg (need to get up to 24 kg)
15 situps

Tabata jump rope

Workout ideas for tomorrow, I'm thinking the below, but what else?

3x5 back squats at 245 (225 was pretty light)
3x5 bench press at 225 (because I haven't don't bench in a while)
50 dips

Need a METCON of some sorts.

Space might be an issue, might do:

25 105 lbs push presses for time again
50 Burpees for time

Can't you just rack the barbell and do the burpees. You really only need space for burpees. I like mixing the two of these rather than separating them.

Well tomorrow is the CMC, I've decided to go with Charlie class for the Pit, in training I've only been able to get a little over over 3 rounds of Delta and it kicked my ass, a few more weeks of conditioning and I would have been there.

Yeah should be a lot of fun, I just wish my heat wasn't at 9:15am, the bus leaves NYC at 7am so I'll just get there in time. Will have the whole day to hang out and drink afterwards though as the bus back isn't leaving until 4:30-5.

I must say this was an awesome event, the logistics regarding registration and what not could have been better but overall it was awesome.

Got 91 reps of Charlie class in the Pit. We didn't really race on the course as we had fun with it. Nothing like doing a mud run with 8 in shape good looking girls. One other guy on the team but he stayed back to help one of the slower girls.

I think I could have managed a few more reps in the pit but I was up 5am after 4 hours of sleep to catch a bus from NYC to the event and didn't get a chance to fully warm up. Amazing what adrenaline will do, I didn't even feel the first two rounds

Charlie class in the Pit (5 minute AMRAP)

5 OHP at 75 lbs
7 Burpee over 20" box jumps
9 American KB swings 44 lbs

Good stuff

Is there a "ranking" in this event? Like where does your 91 reps place you? Plus the run time?

There will be results posted at some point, there are a few different categories for awards, to be honest our course time was slow as ****, we completed it as a team and took our time.

Scroll down in the below link for the awards categories:

I like the women to men ratio on your team. I hope you banged at least 3. Otherwise, you failed this course for sure. lol

Looks like fun.
