My Ride: 2005 325ci
Exclamation Service Engine Soon p0171 p0174

Just bought a little silver 2005 325ci with a black canvas top.
135,000 miles
Service records looked good.

Not two weeks later my SES light comes on.
AutoZone says p0171 p0174
Local mechanic says he knows the problem and it costs $800 (Pvs or PVC something)

Bimmer doesn't overheat, temperature right in the middle.
"Coughs" randomly when going from a complete stop.

Please help me!!

So I have a 01 325ci and am through inch the same code also throwing another one will look it up an post it as well. The thing is I don't know if it's a problem or not Cus it will clear its self. Know someone that had the same problem with the check engine light going on and off turned out to be a bad sensor. My car has been running just perfect for almost 7 month now. Although I just started leaking coolant any common areas please comment.

Use the search feature on this site. There is a lot of info on these two commonly thrown codes.
You're advised to get an ELM327 Bluetooth code reader and appropriate app for your associated phone (search this as well)
