2004 Alpine White M3 in So Cal (27k Miles)

All-

I recently purchased this M3, and have decided it's just not the car for me. I have owned several high performance cars ranging from C6 Z06 to the most recent Cadillac CTS-V. I bought the M3 as a DD, but it just doesn't do it for me. The car performs well, and there is nothing wrong with it at all, I just need to grunt of a V8. The Alpine White with Black Leather, along with the extremely low mileage and full maintenance history make this car a hard find.

2004
27k miles
SMG Trans
Inspection 1 completed less than 2k miles ago
Previous CPO Car
Harmon Kardon Stereo
Sunroof
19" Factoy Wheels
Every maintenance item was done at Crevier BMW, and documented accordingly. Tires and brakes are in great condition, just get in and drive.
Only mod is the tinted windows, completely stock otherwise

Edmunds and KBB both show this car (with the options you provided) at $17k for private party sale. I get that they are not the end all be all on pricing, but since this is basically a stock M3, I'd be willing to give you $17k cash for it. I'm not too far from you. Feel free to consider. Take care.

Sorry, but that is actually an insulting offer. You should do some research to better understand the market on these cars. Especially low mileage, unmolested cars.

Good luck on your search

Actually, you should do some research. Multiple pricing outlets list your vehicle at $17k private party. I know you would like your M3 to be "baller" priced, but its 10 years old...low mileage or not. Deal with it.

Ok, thanks for enlightening me. Not that it really matters, but I have had multiple offers on the car in the mid 20's, so I'm well aware of it's market value. Please go troll elsewhere and don't waste people's time.

Uhhh, no. Are you kidding? You totally low balled the guy. This car is worth may more than 17k. Alpine white AND low miles. Stay off his thread.

Yeah, AW is super rare.

Please, someone prove to me where any low mileage 2004 M3 (optioned out, even) sells private party at anywhere near $27k. Even the higher pricing NADA guide lists it at 18k private party. Just because someone is fool enough to pay something doesn't mean that's the true value of an item. I offered what 4 different pricing guides called for...and seller didn't want to hear it. Oh well.

You would think YOUR claims would be backed up by some sort of pricing proof...but I fail to see any.

I'm not going to waste my time trying to prove my claims and argue with you. You can think whatever you want, but the reality is that you aren't going to buy a clean 26k mile m3 for 17k. Just move on and look elsewhere.

Lol you're so confused. Blue book listing has absolutely nothing to do with the real market of used cars. This car is an exception and there is no "book value" for cars like this. Stop trolling with your moronic offer. You will never find a car like this for $17k on today's market. You do not understand the difference between this car and a $17k m3. Enjoy your life of POS cars.

Nice car, but I would have taken the mid 20 offer you had.

Thanks to those that understand the market in these cars. I'm willing to work in price within reason. I was actually approached with the offers prior to trying to seriously sell the car or having it advertised.

Absolutely worth more a lot then 17k. Get real. Those outlets mean very little. Show another mint e46 m3 alpine white with super low mileage for 17k? That's all the proof you need, not some pricing guide. Point is market dictates value. Sorry to post this in your thread op but you have a great car and best of luck.
