Looks absolutely great. Get some tires on those things!

I second (third? fourth?) the M-Tech bumper.

Thanks man! Just a matter of money, should be pretty soon though

If anyone has any pictures of pre facelift coupes with mtech II bumpers, please post them. I did a google search and the results were not the greatest.

Also, if anyone has any experience with replica M3 bumpers, please post away as well. Thank you

Did the VCG and spark plugs this weekend. This was my first time doing either of these things to a car, had a couple buddies come over while I did it just for some guidance here and there as well as to just hang out (also got to ride in as well as drive my first e28, one of my buddies cars, 535is). Finished the job and the car ran great. I did notice I had a SES light on, turned out it had been on from a couple days prior when my dad was driving the car. Got the code read and it was a small evap leak (P0442). Did some researching and the gas cap is the likely (and the cheapest) culprit, so I ordered one from ECS Tuning and it should be here this weekend. I bought paint to do my grills but I didnt get around to it, possibly this weekend. Here are random pictures:

And a really blurry picture with the VC off, I was more concerned about getting it done than getting a decent pic. Everything looked pretty good

Can someone give me some thoughts and opinions on this? Painted the kidneys gloss black, they used to be flat black.

Flat (before)

Gloss (after)

Now I think the garage lights kind of light it weird, but I feel like it doesnt flow well. I think I need to either paint the bumper reflectors body color or go smoked turn signals?

Thoughts and opinions? I need to see it in the daylight to get a better view.

Also, got a ZHP knob, by the far the best money I've spent on the car so far

I really like the gloss black kidney grills, goes well with the color of your car. I would say get body color reflectors because smoked would look off since your corners are amber.

Thank you! I just went to home depot and found some gloss black spray paint that adhered to plastic. Sanded them down a little, did about 4 coats of black, then 3 coats of clear (also in an aerosol can)

Got the tires mounted on the rear. 255/35/18 Falken 452's that I got for a steal at 240 bucks for the pair for only having a hundred miles on them

On stock sport suspension. Now I need to get tires for the front, and replace my old suspension with coils hopefully

Got the front tires mounted. 225/40/18 Sumitomo HTZ III

It REALLY needs to come down like an inch and a half in the front and maybe like an inch or so in the rear, and then I would be happy with it. Not satisfied at all and it really bothers me. Along with the fact that I probably wont be able to do any lowering this summer. Although if I could possibly pick up a used set of just the front lowering springs or maybe rears too, who knows.

Subframe bushings are next on the to do list, ugh.

I really like the touches you've made to your car sir. Super clean, not too much but enough to know that a fanatic drives that. Do the coils ! I couldnt wait and went on konis and h&r race springs.

Thanks dude! How do you like that setup? I am considering going that route but I think I will like the adjustability of the coils. I think prices are similar as well for coils versus the spring and shock/strut combo. Granted there are numerous different types of coils, but I'd be in the region of spending ~700 or so

get the adjustables!! I wish I would of waited but I got a really good deal on the combo. Koni makes some nice adjustable struts. But coilovers were out of my budget and I wanted a smoother ride since she's my daily. Closing that wheel gap would make a huge difference.

I really like what you're doing here. All of the small touches are definitely tasteful. Id stick with the gloss grilles.

The window trim sorta reminds me of when I taped up my coupe 12 years ago and blacked out the window trim myself.

Keep up the good work

Thanks dude! I'm adding what I believe best fits the car with my own personal style. I think it has come together pretty decent so far, a drop will really set it off

Put in one of my buddies smoked corners

I ordered them that night lol they will really clean the front up I think
