What i've been up to lately... Non-E46 Content

As some of you already know, little over a month ago I was finally able to purchase my dream car. An E92 M3! Even though this isn't the E9X forums, this forum is still my home so thought i'd make a build thread here specifically for this car.

Specs on the car: 2011 E92 M3. Its has competition package, carbon fiber roof, black interior, and fully loaded with a 6 speed manual. 24k on the clock currently. Picked it up for a great deal in San Jose!

The first time I saw her. Even before I thought she would be coming home with me!

After going for a test drive, I knew this was the car for me!

Was finally time for the drive home!!

Finally home where she belongs!

So the next day, decided to give her a first wash! Then snapped some pics on the driveway. haha

Now for my first mod! Got rid of those ugly amber reflectors! Painted reflectors courtesy of iND

Met up with my buddy that afternoon who picked up a Frozen Black M3!

Had to get rid of the ugly carbon grills the car came with...

Replaced with OEM BMW Performance gloss black grills!

Next on the list was an F10 M5 shift knob! Installation took a little while since I needed to change the boot frames off each knob, but now it looks OE and the weighted knob feels much better while shifting!

Now since the rest of the car has gloss black trim all around... why would I want chrome side gills? Got these gloss black side gills painted by iND!

Before.

After.

My friend and I decided to do an impromptu shoot! Ying and yang

And my spacers finally arrived this morning! Going with a 15mm front, and 12.5mm rear from Turner Motorsports. Quality is suberb! I'll post up pics once they are installed. Hopefully this weekend. Aesthetically i'm happy for now. Next on the list is my exhaust setup. Decided on going with Eisenmann Race paired with a Challenge Sport pipe. Its gonna sound

I will update this thread whenever something new happens! Appologies if some of you already saw these pictures in my 330ci thread... but thought I'd make a new one for the M3! This forum made me fall in love with BMW so i'll still be sticking around a lot

I had the pleasure of driving an E92 M3 6MT many many times. That's a wonderful car, in fact it was perfect. M mode (with EDC in sport) is just magical...congrats!

Thank you! Manual was the only thing I considered. The DCT is fun... but the manual is much more engaging.

Finally installed my spacers! Went with 15mm front and 12.5mm rear from Turner Motorsports. I am really loving my new fitment. Sits pretty much flush now I'll get better non-cellphone pics soon.

Thank you sir! Thats the plan. I've always been a fan of clean mods. Nothing is gonna be done until I finish my exhaust. Other plans include possibly BMW Performance splitters and spoiler. But not entirely sure I like them yet. Another possibility is modecarbon front lip. We will see! The KW V3 coils, OSS headlights and brakes down the road. But i'm satisfied for now

Thank you Jake! Always been such a fan of your car I love clean modding too. Like with my E46, going as OE as possible with extra goodies on the side. haha.

Thank you! Yes she is driving it for the time being, but they will sell it eventually i think. Trying to get them into a new F10 I still get to see it occasionally... at least until I move down to southern California later this year. haha
