Free Parts

I did a cooling system refresh & also changed the belts/tensioners/idlers on a 81K mileage 2006 330ci, have the parts I replaced available. Then talked with the PO tonight and he seems to recall the water pump & thermostat being replaced under warranty (<60K miles). I know I replaced the belts when I bought this car 2 years ago at 67K miles.

So belts are very good, think the water pump & thermostat have less than 30K on them, hoses appear to be original, ET IDK.

If you want any of this stuff, stop by and pick it up, price is free.

If no one wants to pick up any of this stuff by Wed, 1 May, it'll go to the curb with the trash on 2 May.

That is why I am keeping mine. That's the beauty of PM, you can still use the old parts if you have to.

no doubt, on long trips it's nice to take a box of parts like hoses and belts just in case

Because I've saved lots parts from 9-e46s & 3-e39s gracing our stable the last 5-6 years, I'm tired of tripping over "extras" here & there. Decided it'd be better to offer them up to someone who might need them and be in a financial pinch - gave away an OEM suspension & sway bars the last couple weeks. Sold an interior, strut braces, extra wheels over the last 3 months, extra PS2 tires went this past weekend. While we still have one e46, my family is moving on to the newer platforms, e9x & e70 replaced earlier ZHPs.
