Doesn't seem to be many Wagon owners in the PNW. Good luck on getting yours up and running and can't wait to see it on the roads. Any pictures?

I've had this Orient blue 04 for a little over a year and love it, I'm surprised there aren't more of these in the PNW. I figured they would be popular up there. Not many Tourings in Texas either.

I attached a couple of pix. Just brakes and suspension mods on this one. And I swapped the wood out for aluminum to help finish out the arctic finish the gray leather gives it. This car will probably go to my daughter in a couple of years when she finishes college then I'll get either an e89 z4 3.0 or a 997 porsche 911.

Dussen: I think I saw your wagon yesterday at the South Center Nordstrom Rack. Was that you? Nice car by the way. I sold my 330i and picked up my wagon a few months ago and love it!

5spd 02. Its ugly as sin right now, have 2 hm2 wheels being refinished and 2 on the car so its a mismatched cluster f atm. Hoping to have the new wheels, sports seats that i just picked up and suspension on by the summer.

Yes in fact it was. Thanks for the compliment, is actually pretty filthy right now. I was admiring you wheels on the way in to the Rack, even made the wife look at them. I'm rarely on that side of the water as I live in the Kingston area.

Picked this up a year ago in Tulsa, OK for $1500 thru ebay. 124k miles. Car runs great. Had an overheating issue, some front end chassis damage (rocker panel area on both sides) and hail storm damage on hood and roof. The hood took more of the damage than the roof. I have another hood ready to replace old one. Body damage not noticeable but I know its there so taking care of it and correcting the damage the right way. Body shop that worked on it just bonded the **** out of it and it looked like crap!

Its Bronzit with tan leather interior. This baby will get new paint, new wheels and suspension system, manual tranny swap and wheels. Also going from tan to blk leather interior. As a matter of fact, just got back from Cali and picked up a complete blk interior off a wrecked '03 sports wagon. Time to rid the current tan one I have. Will post more picks of the car as she goes thru a transformation.....

My little unicorn, alpine white 5-speed slicktop with Xenon.
The day I bought it:

As it sits today:

These things really are badass. I've moved house twice, used the roof rack to carry the usual skis and bikes, but also beds and dressers and giant sliding doors. It carries five (ok, really more like four) adults plus a dog and all their picnic gear. With good tires it is faultless in the snow, has a 47%F/53%R weight distribution, gives me 30mpg highway, and is never embarrassing to pull up to a valet stand. I wouldn't sell it for the world.

Congratulations on the engine swap .. I am looking at repower options myself .. care to make any further before & after observations or comments on the 330 vs 325 or other options?

I decided to perform the m54b30 swap because there is very little out there performance wise for the 325 engine, plus it takes a lot of money to make much of a difference and you max out the engine really quickly. The m54b30 engine has about 40hp and 40ftlbs more than the 325 with stock software which is a huge gain. Right now i have everything on my car from the m54b30 engine except the Mass air flow sensor because I still have the 325 stock ecu running. I am driving it daily like that and it already has way more torque. The engine swap is also really easy and more reliable than slapping a super charger on the 325. If you have the time and money, swapping a s54 in would rock but that's a commitment since those engine around about $10k.

Its interesting that mileage for the stock motors, 325 vs 330, appears to be the same also, so no real daily driving fuel penalty and way more power fun factor!

How much larger in size / or other difference is the MAF from the 330 ? Are you able to recal your existing ECU or need to get one from a 330?
