Mechanic for PPI near Kansas City, KC?

I am picking up a E46 sedan over Memorial Day weekend. I would like the owner to take the car for a PPI.

Can anyone recommend a shop? I came across these guys - http://www.autobahnkc.com/

Thoughts?

I used them for DME update a couple of months ago. They seemed like a good shop to me. What about just having Baron BMW do it?

Funny you mention that. Baron did do a PPI back in Feb. and it passed. I've never been one to trust a dealer completely, so I figure maybe a 2nd opinion was best.

Should I feel OK with the Baron PPI?

I've had little experience with Baron but what I've had has been very positive. If it hasn't had a PPI since February I would get another before. I made the mistake of not listening to a friend about PPI's and bought my ZHP without one anyways, its cost me considerable amounts of cash fixing the things the PPI would have caught. I could have used that to my advantage during the negotiating.

I have known a couple people to work for Baron, one whose mother still works there. I would recommend them.

Autobahn charges $96 for the inspection. Seems extremely reasonable.
