do you know any places in the bay area that could do tuning?

it's not that i don't trust rms, it's just they are too far away.

thanks

I'm not too familiar with shops in the bay area. All of the guys I've mentioned are located in Southern California. I'm sure you don't want to drive down again but I think it might be worth it after I tell you this

Rumor has it that Evosport is getting Jim Conforti to tune their Super Charging systems. The man himself will work on the software! Conforti is someone I would trust my car to anyday and everyway!

BTW, Ta took me for a spin in his car and I have to say I'm very impressed! It is damn fast and it feels so much more powerful. Pulls like a rocket Now I sorta know how you M3 owners feel!

Here's a dyno shop in the Bay area.

G-F Automotive
202 Ryan Way
S. San Francisco 94080
Tel. 650-952-8440

I'd call them first to see if they're familiar w/ dynoing newer BMWs, specifically E46s. Also, the price range should be in the $75-$100 range for at least 3 runs.

Presario - DSC

Presario, THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE INFO! So, my last question is how do you fully disable DSC? Is the "hold down the DSC button for 3 seconds" or "remove all of the fuses associated w/ DSC" the correct procedure. Thanks again for your help...I sure hope this improves my numbers!

How's your RMS supercharger coming along? Has RMS worked all the kinks out of it?

btw... check out Dynospot. I know they work on older BMWs. My friends goto them for VW/Audi work.

Sorry for the late reply buddy. I believe that the DCS and EML was disabled via computer and not by holding the DSC down but I'll have to double check on that. But I think holding down the DSC for 7 seconds should do the same trick. I'm sure it will improve your numbers greatly! That DSC robs you of major power!
