Certainly rooting for USA, but after that I'm for B/H. The story a few weeks back in Sports Illustrated was inspiring. Hope you guys make a run into the knockout stages just like us.

Yea, we have a golden generation right here. If they make the 1/4 finals, i'll be happy as ****. That will be quite the accomplishment. Now, in 2 years, with the european championship, I think they'll be ready to be the real surprise.

edit: btw, a lot of players in the team got their youth education at KRC Genk and some of them played at Genk, which is my city and team, so that makes it feel even better.

Well, the US is probably screwed. We'll have to pull off a miracle win. I'll tell you what's going to happen though. We'll beat Germany like 2-0 but lose to Ghana like 3-1 or something.

I'm also from Bosna, been living in Canada since '93. I'm pretty pumped to see what B/H can do, I mean just qualifying and representing our country is good enough for me.

Just read about Reus getting hurt yesterday. He's out for the world cup.

Don't look now, but the US looked pretty damn good against Nigeria. The perpetually-questioned-and-worried-over back four stoned Nigeria's offense (the goal was a late PK after subs). Add to that the injury to Reus and the fitness questions surrounding Ronaldo and Pepe and suddenly we don't look like such a bad bet to get out of the GoD.

I'm with you. The Real Sports segment on FIFA that he shows a clip of is an eye opener as well.

will have to check out that video later after work.

I'm not much of a soccer fan but I've been around the World Cup atmosphere during the last few go arounds and I'll admit I was a bit confused and jealous at some of the die hard fans but after seeing hot women soccer fans I understood...Go USA, Go Germany.

Yea, that Real Sports piece on the World Cup was great. Proves what everyone already knows; how corrupt these organizing committees are. But, to actually hear and see the hosting cities/countries aftermath is a real eye opener that should dissuade possible host cities from wanting these events.

Ah ok so I was pretty far off in remembering what happened. I couldn't forget how much BS that call was though.
