What tire pressure should I choose?

I am running custom setup with 215/40/18 front and 245/35/18 rear.

I have been going on long trips and have just kept the pressure the guy mounted my tires with ( had no idea what kind of car i had). Right now the fronts are psi of 32 and rears about 35.

What do u think?

When I ran 18's I think I had 35 all around. I'd rather lose the tire then bend a rim considering I'm in NYC

Thanks jake.

You saying running 35s to prevent bending, say at a pothole?

I always recommend going with factory recommended pressures and then adjust accordingly.

On this car, I run +2-3 PSI over factory. Mostly highway driving.

I have 38 all around on 19s. Tried 42 all around once. If you want to feel like youre on cheap coilovers, just raise your pressure. Thats fun.
