What would be more fun, Headers or 3.15dif?

They are both about the same price.

Which one would you guys go for first?

3.15 dif

or

SS headers

3.15 LSD. As a bonus, it'll even help you in the snow.

Headers to go along with your intake. The logic is that you've already freed up half of the bottleneck in a free flow of air through the engine, so why not finish it? (I dunno if you have aftermarket exhaust or not) A 3.14 dif will give you a better launch, but makes little to no difference after you get out of 2nd gear, AND you'll get worse gas mileage because you'll be at a much higher cruising RPM on the freeway.

is it better then when I put my phone on vibrate and clip it to the front of my underpants?

on a serious note, I would get the diff if you really want to feel something immediate. The headers are nice, but you won't feel it like you will the diff. The headers will have a more noticable effect on top end I believe.

It is not.

It is an OEM BMW 3.15, IIRC...

Get an LSD.

The diff but reminding you about the higher RPM@cruise.
It will be more immediately gratifying whereas headers
or a performance exhaust would only be noticeable at
higher RPM. You have a 330 ergo torque is ample-if
we were talking about a 323 or a Honda S2000 then
I'd say go for the headers!

I'm in the same boat for my next mod. I just did the schrick cams 2 months ago, and will pay this off in a month or two.

I was told headers wont do much for my 323i. Is that true?

I want the diff, but can't find one. An OEM diff is over $2K from the dealer.

Does anyone know where I can get an OEM diff 3.46 from real cheap? I'll even take used.

I've been watching eBay, but those are for E36's, not E46s. :-(

I've also called a bunch of junkyards, and no luck. It's hard to find one from an auto.
