While OP's painting decision seems suspicious, it's not uncommon for others to do a complete repaint. I'm currently trying to find a color I like and will be doing the same as OP. My car is perfectly fine BTW.

I'll say $10K-$12K provided inspection II has been performed recently, no leaks and no subframe mount point cracks. My BIGGEST concern would be the rod bearings at this point.
