Jordan Farmar to Clippers. Good backup for Cp3 after Collison signed with kings.

Most of the team is in their mid 20's and can still compete..... could be very interesting.
Yeah Bosh would be a better fit than Melo. However I don't think Bosh deserves 96m for 4 years. A little ridiculous if you ask me. He is a good player but I do not think he deserves superstar money. He kind of got exposed in the finals against Tim Duncan. Basically Bosh is a 6ft 10 shooter. Not very good underneath the rim. I prefer Parsons over Bosh because Bosh is getting old. Most likely parsons will get traded if Bosh gets picked up. No way Houston can afford Parsons as a lot of teams are interested in him.

Well, they have offered him the max, we'll see. And I don't think they will have to give up Parsons. Trading Lin would clear enough cap space, no?

Uhh not sure. I would imagine Parsons will probably get about 8 to 10m a year so not sure if houston has enough room to match that. If they did, they would not have any decent bench players left. Maybe houston has to clear more cap space to keep parsons. Maybe get rid of Beverly, Jones, Francisco, Dmo.

parson is going to get way more then 8-10.

This has been a weird FA season... with the tight cap and everyone worried about paying the tax some of these deals dont make add up.

channing frye just got 8MM a year, joddie meeks 6MM? alot of players that should be low budget bench players are getting big deals.

parsons is up there wit lance stephenson, deng, ariza....probably going for 12+ even though they worth it

6.5 for meeks actually, totally understandable why the rest of the league is kind of outraged because of the market effect it had/has.

but the owners are the ones creating this market...wasn't the whole point of the lockout and new CBA to limit player salary's to help small market teams compete? The small market teams are the ones throwing big money at bench players

Yeah I can see Parsons getting 12m, he deserves it. I was surprised Dirk nowitzki only got 30m for 3 years. I'm sure he could have gotten 20m a year somewhere else. Duncan only got like 10m for one year, he could have gotten 20m somewhere else too. Guess these guys are serious about winning championships.

Life team franchise players like dirk, duncan, wade, etc get taken care of long after they are done playing. They become assist. coachs, scouts, executive, player relations, etc for their team.

A lifetime of being around the game for a couple MM salary is much better then an extra 10MM for one year.

Parsons isn't worth 12MM, do you really want a guy like parsons at 12MM taking up almost 20% of your cap?

I wouldn't be surprised if Lebron leaves with Melo somewhere. Wish they settled already so the rest of the FA can move along.

I would. There is almost no where that this can happen unless melo take a 50% cut lol.

I def give props the senior guys that take less money for the sake of the team and winning. They are loyal to their team as well.

Parson is only like 25 yrs old, he plays aggressive and I like how he takes it to the rim. He can score from the outside as well. I put parsons on the same level as some the other guys in NBA getting more than 10m a year.
