Yeah I'm not surprised at all. Once I heard Gordon Hayward got 63M for 4 years who is imo not better than Parsons. I knew Parsons was going to get paid.
I dont get Hayward getting this much money considering last season he shot 41.3%, 3pt% 30.4% and 5 assist and 5 reb & averaged 36min per game.
Hes not bad but 63m for 4 years??

While I do think Parsons should get paid, I don't think it should be that much. But, James is not meeting with any other teams and Bosh will return to Miami if James does..... hopefully it shakes out by Friday. I would rather Houston sign Parsons back than to lose the opportunity with both Bosh and Parsons....

the "decisions" between melo and lebron need to happen already.

Think lebron staying in miami even though Cavs are clearning up space for his contract
Melo either Chitown, or Knicks. Leaving 40mil on the table is alot of money.

Anyone else see this? Lebron moving his cars in Miami to a different location?

... either that or it's another Cleveland fake out LOL

IMO Melo/LBJ are going to stay put this off-season. Lakers fans may have to wait another year for the KD / KLove sweepstakes

Stephen A's quote from this morning...

This is it...No one in LeBron's camp is talking. However, someone always tells someone who tells someone. What I'm hearing is he's returning to Cleveland. Which is just shocking to me. However, LeBron, as much as he respects Riley felt that he could have treated his confidents and mom a little bit better. He really didnt like Wade getting shutdown so much during the season. Who would want to leave South Beach for Cleveland? I'm told this was more of a goodbye to Pat Riley. Even though Wade is his best friend he made it clear its about business first. Wade may have tried talking him out of it and so did Riley. These are all things I'm hearing. Is it true? Who the hell knows, but its what I'm hearing. You cant trust what anyone says now days.

Are you serious? Do you remember the teams he went to the finals with? This cavs team will be a better fit than that heat team will be. Especially 2-3-4 more years down the road.

I think it all factors on how soon LeBron wants to win another championship. Right now, Miami is a better fit than Cleveland. If he's thinking more longterm....then yes Cleveland is a better fit because they do have a LOT of young talent that needs a little time to mature.

if he resigns he's locked for another 4-5 years probably. He is thinking legacy now. He'll be a fuucking hero if he goes back to cleveland.

+ 1. If their current roster continues to progress (as they're supposed to), that will be a young/explosive roster with a championship-caliber star player.

So if he goes back to CLE, I guess all is forgiven (for CLE fans)?

Always will appreciate what Lebron has done for Miami and I'll have his back whatever he decides to do.

I'm thinking Cleveland as well. I'm not normally a conspiracy theorist, but when a team gets the top pick in the draft 3 out of 4 years when the odds are astronomically long, I call foul. This has been put in place by the higher-ups in the league to set up Lebron's return to the Cavs.

I've got no issues with him heading back at all, really. We had 4 good years. But the writing is on the wall for everyone to see that there was definitely some draft tampering that happened there over the past 4 years...anyone who fails to see it is naive.

We'll wait and see what happens obviously. I say its 75-25 he returns to Cleveland.
