Official E46F NFL Fantasy Football League 2014

Hey guys,

Football season is going to get rolling here in a couple months. I just want to see who on here is interested in a fantasy football league. Last year we had a good league going on here, stayed active and was competitive. This time around I'm hoping to find 12 solid managers and raise the buy in, in order to make for a better league.

Details are subject to change. Right now, I'm just trying to see who is interested...

12 man 0.5 PPR Scoring. ESPN or Yahoo. Draft to be determined.

$50 buy in using league safe. 1st place payout: $400 2nd place payout: $150 3rd place payout: $50

Buy in must be paid before the draft starts.

I'm looking for 12 experienced managers who are willing to commit to the entire season. I will hand select the managers. Lets see who's interested.

Thanks!

Edit:

Managers selected:

1. zuckuss00
2. Mike Larry
3. ghorn
4. FadeToBlack
5. Chris3Duke
6. DAm3Kid
7. blownE30M3
8. limpiabota809
9. Sam 330ci
10. ThaHooch
11. Coco Savage
12. DonaldE

not doing $50 with a league of people I don't know. had fun last year, not really about the money, rather not knowing everyone in the league's knowledge level. my spot is free if it's $50.

That is why I'm hand selecting the managers in the league this year. I'm looking for 12 experienced players, not the first 12 that want in. A $50 buy in is for a more serious commitment and to keep it competitive.

I would be in depending on when the draft is. I'll be out of the country until August 20th

I'd do a $20 buy-in again, not sure about $50. I was one of about 5 people who actually attended the online draft last season.

I'm not going to let that happen again. That's why I'm hand selecting the managers. I'm also considering doing the draft on here with an online draft board. I did that in another league last month. It was actually a lot of fun and gave people time to make better picks. Basically, you have 24 hours to post a pick (never took that long), you use your own rankings. The draft took about a week to complete. It was really cool to slow it down and analysis each pick. Also the trash talk was fun too.

Here's in idea of it turns out. https://clickydraft.com/draftapp/board/1125

It's just an idea. If everyone want to do a normal draft. That is fine.

Online draft boards are a lot of fun. I do that in my main league every year. Just make sure you start with plenty of time in case a few people do take the 24 hours. We usually get through multiple rounds in a day, but then will have other times where it takes a few days to get through a single round. We turn the 12 hour (we do 12 instead of 24) clock off on weekends.

I"m still thinking about it...

Yeah, I think an online draft would be really cool to do on this forum. I know there are a lot of football fans on here, it would be fun to have the forum following the draft also and chime in on picks and talk smack on people's teams.

Either way I'd like to have you back in this year. I'm going to make sure it's better. You have a spot if you want it.

I'm very interested. I can screenshot my yahoo stats for you if you need a reference. I prefer yahoo (never played on espn) and a live draft not a fan of auto draft leagues.

Sounds good. I don't need any screen shots. As long as you're experienced, buy in and have the time to commit to manage a team your good. We'll definitely be doing a live draft of some sort. I'd never do a auto draft. We'll determine the site later. Yahoo/ESPN are both good for football.
