Something that should be mentioned here is that 95% of people are totally capable of achieving things like sub sub 5 minute mile (maybe 5:30 to be easier), 18 minute 5K, etc. Running gives back exactly as much as you put in. The really good runners have talent AND put in the work, but almost anybody can be WAY above average just by putting in above average work.

Not sure what this has to do with my post but you're suggesting that a person is only supposed to work out once every 7-10 days?

If you want worn out knees, hips and ankles then spend your time running. If you just want to be ripped, start swimming instead.

Check your arches/stride at a running store, and they will recommend the proper shoes for you. If you have flat feet, running will always be tougher, but the right shoes can help.

If you have overweight, it will be tougher, but you can improve.

Keep realistic expectations. Thats all you can do.

Start with walking and or hiking and or climbing stairs/bleachers and or running lines on a bball court for a month or two before you try running any long distances?

No, I admit I didn't. I just did some brisk walking and very light jogging. The muscles on the front of my shins were sore for a week.

30 minutes total

5 minutes warm up walk and 5 minutes 'cooldown' walk.

Haha yeah following a plan means actually FOLLOWING IT! You don't know enough about running OR yourself for that matter to make your own plan.
