I saw "Kids" at a film festival. Some of the more awkward moments I've spent in a theater except for the nine minute anal rape scene in "Irreversible", you can't hold your breath for nine minutes.

true, in that case I'll throw "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" and "Titanic" into the mix.

^ I loved Robot and Frank, it was recommended to me on Netflix and was surprised at how good it was.

Not sure why so many liked Snowpiercer that much. I mean, a cool premise and all, but that ish got boring. Needed to cut ~30 min.

I've heard such mixed things about it so far I can't decide whether to give it a watch. EW, critics, and the like talk about it being the unexpected hit this summer. But individuals who've actually seen it talk about a snoozefest that really needed to be shortened as you've said.

My wife and I watched it last night on PPV. I found it disappointing.

I agree. I also highly recommend "Room in Rome" as a kid-friendly movie that's worth watching.

It was free on Amazon so I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Had to watch it twice, there's so much in the first half of the movie that you pick up on after seeing the second half.
