Has anyone here seen Kids, Ken Park, and/or Bully? Seriously demented movies...
I remember seeing Bully years ago. It took me about 5 years to find out what it was. Crazy movie. I have also seen Kids, Maybe I should look up Ken Park.

I just watched "Mud" and I thought it was pretty good. Weird pacing but worked itself out in the end.
I'll stay away from foreign flicks but one nice indie I saw last year was "Starlet". I thought it was very cool.

It's on Youtube... full version uncensored.... somehow...

It's not a good movie, I was just curious if anyone has seen it lol

I think that was my problem as well. The movie got made up into something mythical that it couldn't live up to. I suppose if my expectations would have been lower I would have enjoyed it more.

Just watched irreversible after ur rec and seeing Monica belly I was in it. What a brutal movie. Unnecessarily so at times. Doesn't add to the art or anything. And the seizure inducing cinematography.

But Monica Belluci. Omg. Still so sexy after all these years.

I swore I wasn't going to get into foreign films but you might like "Malena"
and since I opened the foreign film box...

"Let the Right One In"
"Big Bad Wolves"

Some that I didn't hear too much about/heard they were bad (not in any order) but I actually ended up liking:

Man of Steel
Prisoners

Some other films that I liked:

Original Old Boy (seriously shocked me...but I'm not good at figuring things out)
Miniseries actually: The Company
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
The Good Shepard

I'll think of some more

For those that haven't seen this, definitely skip the remake (w/Josh Brolin) and just stick to the original.
