Driver's Seat Headrest Problems

Hey guys,

I need to take the headrest off of my driver's seat so I can finish converting the interior from beige to black. The headrest needs to be in the middle of the adjustment space in order to remove it, and there lies my problem.

The headrest won't move up from the bottom position. When I push the button up to move the headrest up I hear a click, but then no movement. Electronic click happens every time but no movement.

Anyone else had this problem or have an idea of what might be wrong with it?

My seatback was doing this and it turned out to be a cracked plastic gear. Maybe that's what you have...
