Is this really how some people think?

I really hope she is just trolling hard... Or is this the true mentality of some people?

I think it's a troll account. All the posts are about Romney being racist, Obama, and fried chicken.

Please baby jesus, let it be a troll account.

Never question the stupidity of some people.

But to answer OP's question, yes some people do think that way. My brother in law thinks that way so I know it first hand.

They know where, they just don't care.

I've heard the following exact quote straight from him:

"Why would I work in the winter when I can make such good money on unemployment and welfare?"

He works in construction and is laid off/fired for the winter. They are also on WIC and other assistance for their child.

On the flip side, they own three cars, a bobcat, a boat, a brand new ATV, snowmobiles, rent lakefront property during the summer, have a camper on that property, a golf cart, ...the list goes on. It's infuriating to my wife and I to the point that we just don't even bother with them anymore.

Very common to construction workers, regardless of politics. Some of the most hard-core right wing people I know follow this tactic during seasonal layoff. They'll also apply for unemployment when between jobs, so the clock starts ticking and they won't have to wait as long when they finally hit the season's end. To sum up the belief structure: All programs are evil (except the ones I exploit, personally)!

Yes, I know it's common for construction workers to be laid off/fired for the winter but most of them find something to do in the winter time. Many plow snow or do handyman work or find a winter job of some sort to keep themselves going. There are a lot that just sit on their as$ and do nothing though because "they worked hard in the summer".
