My M3 was behaving strangely today...NE1 with a similar problem

Car was fine this morning when I drove it, this afternoon I first noticed that the sunroof will not open and my phatbox mp3 player did not play. I also noticed that the dash turn signal indicators were not working even though they light up the outside and the seat belt/"engine service soon" indicators were persistently lit in the instrument panel. The air conditioning was also blowing hot air. The driver and passenger windows were working for a while but they quit working after I turned the car off once. Seems like a electrical or a computer problem...I checked some of the fuses but they all seem fine. The interior of the car felt like a sauna in the warm So Cal weather...I was panting like a dog.

Will take it to the dealer tomorrow...anyone with similar experience?? Someone on Roadfly thought it was related to a security system malfunction.

Sorry to hear you're having problems...

I occasionally have a problem with the front passenger window "forgetting" the door's closed and should inch back up to meet the top, but your issue sounds serious.

I hope your audio installation isn't to blame.

yikes that sounds serious since what you are describing

is a multitude of problems that may or may not be linked to one circuit...(who knows with today's car computers)

I would seriously look over any aftermarket wiring you did before taking the car in. If the dealer finds you're at fault, you could be out a lot of $$$ not to mention a voided warranty.
