Good Cheap Rotors??

Does anyone know where i can get some good cheap rotors? I know rotors are important, so i dont want to get some ebay rotors. But i dont want to spend that crapload of money that the dealer wants.

Maybe someone has some good rotors left over from doing a brembo upgrade

any help?

What part of DC are you from? I'm looking for a good set of rotors myself. I posted a similar thread and got a few good responses. Let me know which one you decide to get.

Check tirerack.com, I beleive they have some pretty good prices. By the way, I'm in Dupont Circle, but I'm not , not that there's anything wrong with that.

rotors are manufactured by Balo of Germany. Balo is one of the few German brake rotor manufacturers with its own foundry. They have complete and direct control over production quality. They cost a little more than competitive brands but are worth it. (Note: my second choice of rotors would be the original BMW ones but I've been very unimpressed with the ones coming out of BMW/South Africa. If you insist on original BMW, make sure you get the German ones...the ones with the primer gray hats and without the blue coating)

yours for REALLY CHAP + actual shipping from 14620

Holy crap, someone who lives there and isn't ?!?!?! (I work in real estate development in DC.)

Check out bimmerparts.com. They offer about the best prices I've heard of.

I didn't realize we had so many members from the DC metro area. We should all get together and start and Bimmer club.

I was considering the PowerSlot rotors. I'm not sure if anyone has used them before. Any comments on those?

Slotted rotors don't do anything but accelerate pad wear, unless you're on the track.

funny cause i'm looking for rotors too... not trying to spend too much. Want to do front and rear, definitely cross drilled. Brembo OEM replacements look nice but pretty pricey, trying to do some research on Stoptechs now.

Yea i'm surprised there are so many people from the DC area on here too.. eastcoastbmw.net is cool but not a whole lot of members. Time for everyone to sign up!

Somehow I can't find Brembo rotors for a 330ci on tirerack. Is it not available for 330CI? Or are they the same?

Factory parts will work with your car the best. They are the most unlikely to warp.

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish in finding your next rotor replacement, but as far as OEM BMW rotors go I've found that Pacific BMW has the best pricing. $39 each for the front rotors and $26.10 each for the rear rotors ($130.20 for all 4!!)--make sure you talk to their Mail Order Parts department.

Any other suggestions out there for decent rotors anywhere close to these prices?

Thanks.
